I wanted to implement this in my board and wasn't able to find it anywhere else. In the registration part instead of the user writting the country or state it displays a pulldown menu with all the possible countries. It's actually a very easy hack.... I don't know if it has been done before but here is my version.

In Ultimate.cgi find:
and change it to

That's for Ultimate.cgi, now go to ubbmisc.cgi

you need obviously to copy all the tags with the countries names. Just now don't include the "selected" part of the US conuntry. Finally find

That should do it. You can put the "selected" word inside any option. In this case it is inside US but it can be anywhere to have it prechecked.

Changing City, State, Country to only Country is just because the City and State are no longer considered.
